Brand Goes to Philly, Maggette to Warriors; Turiaf on the Way
Despite the Clippers' dreams of having Baron Davis and Elton Brand teaming up to lead the team to the promised land, it will not happen. Brand has agreed to a five year, $82 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
In addition to losing Brand, the Clippers are about to lose Corey Maggette as well. The free agent sharp shooter has agree to a five year deal with the Golden State Warriors, worth around $50 million.
Also, the other team in L.A. may be losing one of their power forwards as well. Ronny Turiaf has signed a four year, $17 million offer sheet with the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers have seven days to match the offer.
