Love or Marion for the Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are searching for a versatile big man to fit into Nellie's system for next season. Tim Kawakami believes that either Kevin Love or Shawn Marion are realistic options that would fit perfectly into Nellie ball. He also suggests that, in order to attain Love the Warriors could swap picks with the Bucks.

Kevin Love Gets It

Every year it seems like nobody wants to come to Milwaukee.  At last year's draft, when Florida PF Joakim Noah was asked if he would simply work out for the club, Noah cut off the reporter, saying, "I'm not going there."

How sad that is.  There are only about 450 men in the world that have the opportunity to play in the NBA each year.  How unfortunate that a player would deem one of those opportunities, an opportunity that thousands of kids would seize in a heartbeat, not good enough.

That's why it's so refreshing to see Kevin Love, the freshman standout from UCLA, respond the exact opposite way as Noah.  When asked the very same question, Love replied, "What's wrong with Milwaukee?  I'd love it there.  It would be great...Any city that I'm going to will be my new favorite city and I'm going to try and embrace it as best as possible.  I think Milwaukee would be a great place for me."

Good for you, Kevin Love.  You get it.  Playing in the NBA is a privilege, not a right.  You get paid to play a game!  Wherever you go, it should be an honor.  Somebody should remind some of that a little more often.
